a Christmas wish answered... come September

So anyone who hasn't heard yet... yes. The Buchanan's are going to have a baby come this September. I'm not sure how it happened (yeah. I get the mechanics... I do have 2 kids) - But it's just that Jason & I don't really see too much of each other and after an exausting day of work, school, being on call, preschool, doing homework, research for thesis, paying bills, sewing group, YW, and kids, all you really have energy for is sleep. So I really think I give credit to Paige for this one. She has put in countless hours praying, wishing, and begging for a baby for the longest time. All her hard work millions of wishes on stars and countless letters to Santa apparently paid off. (She's got a lot of clout with the bearded fella - so if you want something for next year you might want to bribe her early to include it in her letter(s)).



That's it... I'm eight weeks and thrilled. We'll keep praying that everything goes smoothly & the baby is healthy and I can make it through an Arizona summer as a swollen beached whale with some speck of self-esteem in tact at the birth of our 3rd child (people can say the most interesting things to pregnant women and think it's okay)
