Paige and peanut butter playdough

So this is really what made me want to start blogging (more than peer pressure). Isn't she so cute? She was completely into sculpting these little pb men
This one is hers. Notice the the belly button. Actually I think hers is a girl (not anatomically correct, thank goodness!) She made her with long hair.

This one is mine. What? I couldn't let my five year old have all the fun. My little pb man reminds me of "the Wemmicks" from Max Lucado's book, I am Special. (not that I am comparing myself to Eli or anything - if you have no clue what I am referring to... you really should read the book. Try to do more with your life then just reading boring blogs on the internet about moms that think their kids are so freakin wonderful)

Here are the little pb kids just chilling on some soft parchment paper. Paige was pretty intense when crafting her art. Surprisingly she didn't even pause to pose for a picture.

She is even wearing the apron I made her (sniff, sniff) - makes a momma proud.

Peanut Butter Playdough
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1TBS. honey

I found a lot of recipes on the internet. Some called for powdered milk? Are you kidding me, who keeps powdered milk on hand? Except for homeschoolers, or a mom with 10 kids that wants to torture her too cool teenagers. Bad memories. .. I get all queasy just thinking about drinking the stuff. Anyway, this is the best recipe. It's very edible (just ask Paige) but please don't give it to kids with peanut or honey allergies (just thought I would point out the obvious for ya, your welcome.)

Loooove the blog Marecake. It'll be fun to check it from time to time. How in the world did you do that top portion with the filmstrip and the different pictures? I've got to learn how to do that!
Glad to see some shout outs to Disneyland as well!

I'VE MADE IT one and all... to the big leagues. And to quote some movie... although I can't remember what movie it is... 'You love me... you really love me'
Ohh yeah, it's from The Mask. Sweet!
Mare, you're the best! And to everyone else that reads this. You must be swell as well if you know and are associated with this family.
Now, get a tribute post to 'Twilight' and we'll be jammin'

Do I have to have a kid old enough to play with the pb dough to justify making it? No? Good.

Maren, I was just getting ready to give Myla big 'ol honkin' spoonful of peanut butter but then read your warning. You most definitely saved us a trip to the ER. What would I do without you and your blog?! See, giving into peer pressure isn't always a bad thing.

Paige is so cute. She told me today that she got SEVEN whole stars at school...tell her Christie says she deserves one more star for her pb girl. Oh, and Myla really isn't allergic to pb...I just like bustin' your chops. :) (Whatever that phrase means.)
